MR. SHASEL is a creative writer from Singapore, who prefers to communicate his ideas and visions through fiction rather than essays. As a Malay translator, he writes poems and short stories in English and Malay languages.
His writings have been mostly published in the Singapore daily, Berita Harian and Berita Minggu newspapers.
His interests include world history, religions, languages, literature and the arts. He detests violence, wars, injustice, crime and corruption.
He has been producing poems, short stories and essays on various themes since he started writing in 1992.
