As part of a fund raising drive we made available two CD ROM's that contained educational resources suitable for children.They can now be downloaded for free from http://www.teachnet.ie/jfarrell/2004/index.htm If you wish to preview same click on links to the left of the screen.We have also several other projects that can be viewed at the Teachnet site. http://www.teachnet.ie These include Zoltan Zinn Collis, concentration camp survivor, Capt. Myles Keogh, who died at the Battle of the Little Big Horn, Literacy and Numeracy Resources as well as Irish Vocabulary sheets. This year, for 2009, the school's computer club are uploading a project on Digital money.

Holy Family Boys National School, Askea, Carlow is a twenty three teacher school.Principal is Mrs. Wall and Chairman of the board of Management is Fr.Liam.Askea Boys is an excellent school with many notable achievements to its credit.It haswon the County Gaelic football title several times. It has a very active school     quizteam. Its greatest moment was when it won the All Ireland parents Council Quiz It has a state of the art computer room which is the base for   the schools computer club and Carlow PC Support group also.The school is involved in many activities such as choir, basketball, hurling, indoor hurling, indoor soccer, Gaelic Football, swimming, and it has a comprehensive library also.We have been awarded three Green School flags. We also participate at in the Kid Smart Computer programme.We also won the PE Active School county award in 2007 and we also won in 2008, as well as winning the "Games for All" INTO cometition at county level. We have also won two rap competitions! We used Hip Hop E-Jay. The school was also awarded a PC Pentium by PC Live as a "School of the Month."

The emphasis of this site is on resources and childrens work.
