We are the boys and girls in
third and fourth class.
Mrs Teehan asked us if we
woud like to do a short video
of ourselves which would be broadcast
on the Open Channel in Berlin and
also on the satellite Channel "Europe
by Satellite".
And all of us said yes.
We all took part in something -singing,
dancing, working on the computers, poetry
and of course hurling .
----------------------------------------------------------

Some of us said Irish phrases. Here are a few phrases we used.
Is mise Colm. -My name is Colm.
Tá mé naoi mblina daois. -I am nine years old.
Dia duit. -Hello.
Slán - Good bye.
COMPUTERS
3rd and 4th class went down to the computer room. Some of us talked about the Leap castle. The Leap castle is supposed to be haunted. .The computers are networked. Our school has our own website which tells us all about the history of our area, and the sport in our parish.
IRISH DANCING

Louise wore a dress
and Aoife and Caitriona

We started dancing when
we were 4 years old
.We all like Irish dancing.
We are 8 years old. We
are in the same class
room.It took us a long
time to practice it.
We enjoyed our dancing.
Our names are Gillian Shareen and
Anna .
For our Irish dancing we
needed pomms and an Irish dancing
costume or skirt. And to pratice
our dancing we needed a tape
and on the tape there were
reels, jig ,slip jig , single jig and
the hardreel. Our favourite dance is the reel.
So us three girls thought we
should do that dance for you. There
are 3
steps in the reel 1,2,3, 1,2,3, toe,
hop up, hop hop 1,2,3,
Anna is 8 Gillian is 9 and
Shareen is 10 .

song that Mrs Teehan taught us .We
had a boy pretending to be a leprechaun
.He was sitting under a tree fixing
a shoe.
