Landslide
It started on the 19th of September me and dad went to the pub for a pub quiz for a injured Player. In the pub the electricity went out. So we put the generator on. We could hear fire brigade. The lighting was flashing the thunder was crashing! Paddy was coming back telling us that the us bridge had gone. The next morning there was no water and we could see the tv3 people and there was a helicopter on the pitch. At the graveyard there was a digger.

The Freaky Weather.
Hi I am Nicole,I live in Gorthbrack: that is where the landside and the flooding was over the weekend. Well this was how it all started..... There was a quiz to raise funds for a lad who broke his leg. My mom and dad were on their way to the quiz in Pullathomas. The rain was so bad that they had to stop the car because the rain was so frightening. Then landslides started. The areas which the tragedy hit were Gorthbrack, Pullathomas, Gorthmeila and Glengad. These areas are destroyed for life. The bridge at the end of my road is gone. When I say gone I mean gone. The graveyard in Pullathomas is completely destroyed. There is a big landslide down at the back of Glengad. So people were trapped in there. A neighbour of mine and his grilfriend whose car was washed away just survived. Well there is a woman in Grothbrack who is about 76 and she never saw a flood that big. I think it was a bit of hurricane Isabel that broke off. The poeple of Inver and Gorthmellia didnšt have much flooding. I forget to say that my granny was looking after me the rain was very scaring. Thank god no-one was killed.
