The Main Aim Of The ShannonSide Callcard Collectors Club is to provide all members of the club as well as non members with an up to date listing of all Irish Releases, whether it is a Standard issue, Private issue, Test card or international card. If it has been produced then it will be catalogued here under Irelands Largest directory of Irish Callcards. If you know of any Irish Callcards not listed here then please write to me at the following Email address: firstname.lastname@example.org. This page is under constant renewal and so please keep checking back for new issues each and every time that they are released on to the market........
To categorize each Irish card I have sub-divided them into four main areas namely that of :
1. Telecom Eireann Standard as well as private issues.
2. Telecom Eireann Test & Demonstration Cards.
3. Irelands Seconds Phonecard issuing company Superphone.
4. Ireland's Remote Memory Card Releases
What each area contains.
1. Telecom Eireann & Eircom Standard issues :
All public as well as private issues of Callcards will be listed here. Each card is listed according to their own unique issuing number. Details of each card provided include card number, date of issue as well as the quantity of cards issued and type of chip face available on each card.
2. Telecom Eireann Test & Demonstration Cards :
All test cards as well as demonstration cards will be listed here. All known details on each card known will be given such as date of issue, quantity issued etc.
3. Superphone Phonecards :
Superphone is Irelands second Phonecard producing company operating in Ireland. It provides public communication facilities on the likes of Ferries and Buses. Both their magnetic stripe and Chip-set cards are contained here.
4. Remote Memory Card Releases : No longer Updated.
There has been a recent explosion in the release of Remote Memory Cards here in Ireland in the last couple of months, perhaps due to the fact that Telecom Eireann can no longer monopolize the Telecommunications Network of Ireland.
There has been a huge influx of remote memory cards released over the last number of years just as I predicted and it has become impossible to add these, however I do know of a lot of them and may list what I know of at a future date.
