Connemara Stone

Connemara Stone is located at Streamstown two miles from Clifden,
Connemara, Co. Galway, where the stone, which is used in local house
building, is extracted from the quarry. At Streamstown, Connemara Marble,
Iron and Copper have been mined over the last centuries and the area is
stepped in history with recorded human activity dating back over 5,000
years.
