Cooleenbridge Waldorf School is situated in rural East Clare close to the shores of Lough Derg in Co.Clare, Ireland. It was founded in November 1986 by parents and has developed as a partnership between teachers and parents aiming to provide a balanced and integrated education for their children.

The school has two Kindergarten groups catering to children from 4 - 7years of age and four combined (classes) up to Class 7. All teachers in the school are fully trained in Steiner Waldorf pedagogy and most have graduate or post graduate teaching qualifications.

The school is a member of the Steiner Schools Fellowship of the United Kingdom and Ireland and is a founder member of the Irish Steiner Waldorf Education Association. The school is also a member of the UNESCO Associated Schools Project and has partner schools in several countries.
