The Lone Cygnet

We took a large cabin cruiser on the majestic River Shannon in late May 2004.

It's a great way to see Ireland from an entirely different angle, and there's lots of wild life to be seen on the way.

We came across a pair of swans with a lone cygnet, who was, of course, being very well looked after by his Mum and Dad.

Here are a couple of shots taken with an F3HP/MD-4 combo using the excellent 300/4.5 AIS Nikkor
