
| Welcome to the Costello and Fermoyle Fisheries website. We are situated in the beautiful landscape of Connemara, in Co. Galway, in the romantic west of Ireland. We are a sea trout and salmon fishery, featured extensively in "A Man May Fish" by T.C. Kingsmill Moore, and offer anglers the chance to fish on the enchanting river that is the Casla. The Casla River system is located roughly 20 miles west of Galway City on the coast road, before the village of Costello. The main river (roughly 2 miles in length), is divided into 4 beats and lakes include Glennicmurrin, Muckinagh, Clonadoon, Rusheen, Fermoyle, Carrick, Clogher and Shanawona, all of which are connected by roughly 10 miles of river. | ![]() |
