Leixlip Angling Development Society

For the past 5 years the Leixlip Angling Development Society

has been working hard to promote angling for all. We believe that

angling is one of the most universal sports around. It can be enjoyed

by both young and old, male and female. Our Society (or club, as

most of our members prefer to call it) doesn't just stand for angling,

we also stand for the preservation and maintenance of our fragile

canal and river Eco-systems

However we mostly stand for Coarse

Fishing in Ireland and the Leixlip Area. We're affiliated to the

which allows us to take part in regional and All-Ireland

competitions, as well as having a vote in the N.C.F.F.I. AGM.

For those who know something

about angling, Leixlip A.D.S. is a coarse angling club. The

waters in our area have all the main coarse fish species that

there are in Ireland including several other types of fish.

Leixlip A.D.S. is not a game

angling club and does not support the killing of fish for sport

or for dead bait.
