BACKGROUND
Seán Laffey has been taking photographs of the Irish landscape
and Irish musicians for over 20 years. His photographs regularly
appear in Irish music magazine and he has had pictures presented
in various magazines including the British Black and White
Photography (from the Guild of Master Craftsmen), Guinness
Buzz Magazine and various trade and Web publications.

In August 2002 Seán Laffey Editor of Irish Music Magazine
will be presenting Imagine an Ireland a multi media computer
gallery at the Milwaukee Irish Fest and also at the Goderich
Celtic Fairl in Ontario Canada. The combined attendance at
both these events will be in excess of 150,000. The show will
also be available at the Cashel Heritage Festial and negotiations
are under way for a display at the Fleadh Ceol in Listowel.

The exhibition will consist of over 200 photographs of Irish musicians
and the Irish landscape, with a sound track of traditional music
that will run alongside the picture display. These tracks are
sample MP3s and are of good quality.

To coincide with the exhibition Sean is preparing a promotional
CD-Rom, containing sample pictures and musical highlights from
the main exhibition. Approximately 1000 CD-ROMS will be given
away at the North American festivals, ensuring that your music
will be in the hands of people who like it and furthermore have
the ability (via the net) to follow it up with enquiries and orders.
