DJCtrl v1.58

Authors: Robert O'Sullivan & David O'Shea

DJCtrl is a desktop port of the control panel for PC's that you get with HP DeskJets. It does all the things that the PC version can, and a bit more!
It was written using HPs PCL codes, except for the cartridge functions which were found out using 'other' methods on my 660C. This means that although all the text font and miscellaneous functions will work on any PCL compatible Deskjet with the right fonts, the cartridge functions may only work on the 660C. Feedback would be appreciated on this one!

Below you can see some shots from the program, including the nicked-from-PCish splash screen.

Problems:

On my A5000, using the ROM version of the ParallelDeviceDriver (v0.34) through my Zip and CD-ROM drives causes the machine to hang. This does not happen on the A3010 with the same parallel chain.

This may be due to the 82C710 in the A5000 rather than the 82C711 in the A3010. It is not a problem with DJCtrl as even Printers (v1.53) with the patches installed crashes the A5000 when printing in the background - which did not happen on the A3010.

Loading ParallelDeviceDriver (v0.44a) fixes DJCtrl on the A5000 - but Printers still crashes. Input appreciated!
