When, in 1647, Joshua Dolan was sworn in as "Master
of the worshipful company of goldsmiths, silversmiths, cuttlers, braziers, glaziers and other hammermen
that work by fire," he was continuing the 4000 year old tradition of Irish artists working in precious metals.
This ancient tradition is still alive today in the Dolan workshops, where we create pieces that acknowledge our rich and ancient heritage, and also carry it forward into the next millenium. The tools and techniques have not changed, only the generations move on as fathers teach sons.
Because all pieces are hand made in our workshop, each piece is
unique and may vary slightly from those pictured. Each piece is made
from sterling silver and comes complete in a presentation
case. The prices include postage and handling.
