First you put all the dry ingredients into a
mixing bowl. Then you pour in the wet ingredients and mix
well.

When the mixture is ready take it out of the bowl
and knead it. If you find it sticking to the board you can
sprinkle a little flour to remove the stickiness.

Cut the mixture into four even pieces and knead
separately.
|
Place one piece of the mixture into each tin and
spread out until fairly level. Then gently cut cross on top
of tins to help release the air bubbles.

When cakes are golden brown, take
out of the oven and take out of the tin. Leave to cool on a
wire rack for 30 minutes.
