Making Compost

Donegal County Council gave the school a compost bin which we keep inside this frame.

We collect things like fruit skins from lunches, bread crusts and so on. Some people bring waste from their kitchens at home. Soon, when the grass is cut, we will add that too.

It doesn't look very nice right now but we hope that when we have given it some time to "cook" our plants will think it's delicious;-) When we have learned more about it all we will be replacing this page with instructions and links.
