Dunquin, Dingle peninsula , Ireland

Dunquin is situated in the south-west of Ireland, at the end of the Dingle peninsula in the county of Kerry.

It is in a small fertile valley facing west out to sea. It overlooks the Blasket islands. Dunquin is the most westerly part of Europe.
The area is Irish speaking.

Dunquin Pottery - where you can check out the pottery or have a snack or meal, try some of Helena's homemade Porter cake.
Slea Head - Provides splendid views of the Blasket Islands. Also an excellent place from which to view the sunset.
