The intercolary day of every fourth year is to be called 'La Sans Culotide', on which there is to be a national renovation of their oath, 'to live Free or Die'.

The month is divided into three Decades, the days of which are called from the Latin numerals,

  1. Primidi
  2. Duodi
  3. Tridi
  4. Quartidi
  5. Quintridi
  6. Sextidi
  7. Septidi
  8. Octidi
  9. Nonodi, and
  10. Deadi, which is to be the day of rest
(Northern Star, November 18, 1793. Note: The month of Thermidor, the Hot Month, is instead given here as Fervidor.)
