Welcome To Golly's March 2006 Diary
Well we started the month with snow, so much for Spring, it is very cold, but is still fairly dry, which is good news, there is very little grass growth though because of the cold weather, so the fields are starting to look a little bare, could be a case of out with the grass seed.
Now at the end of the month the weather is starting to turn, it has warmed up but of course is now wet.
Harry, Henry and Foxy (Droopys Kewell x Cleopatra Golly’s) have finished schooling and are waiting to start their racing careers. Henry is going to Hove, Foxy Walthamstow, and Harry the dog we thought had been sold numerous times, but people let us down, we have decided to keep ourselves and he will run over here, we are quietly hopeful, but time will tell.
Look Out Here They Come....
The rest of Golly's hounds are doing well.
We have decided to breed from Jess when she comes into season, she had a couple of minor open racers in her 1st litter one of which Clubhouse Leader looks like being a fair marathon dog, so far we have a long shortlist of suitable sires.
Two more of Lulu’s pups (True Honcho x Track Ruu Laa) left to go to the UK to be reared on by their new owners, we wish Honcho and Domino well.
That leaves us with six of the original litter of ten and believe us they are more than enough to handle, a very fiery and lively bunch indeed.
We have 4 bitches and 1 dog for sale from Lulu’s litter to True Honcho, check out this sires stats, anyone interested please get in touch.
