By day I am as Software Consultant specialising in COBOL based business applications - I believe in the Merant slogan "COBOL is the language of Business". At one time I actively represented the interests of Dublin bound commuters from North Offaly. As a result I have become the nemisiss Iarnrod Eireann, the Irish national rail carrier and the champion of the Slieve Bloom Express, the bus operator I called in to provide an alternative when rail travel failed to be cost effective.
