The BJC-5500 is designed for experienced computer users and printer buyers, for users that have to draw, design and print large format and coloured documents. Typically these users can be found in the CAD/illustration/drawing markets and in the finance and corporate reporting areas. ..

The BJC-5500 comes with both the BC-20 high speed, high capacity mono cartridge (with a print speed of up to 7 ppm) and the BC-21e colour cartridge for vibrant colours. The optional BC-29F Fluorescent Cartridge gives designs even greater impact if desired. In addition to standard plain paper, you can print onto A2 and A3 double-sided BubbleJet paper, High Gloss and Back Print Films. For continuous heavy duty printing, a built-in pin-feed tractor accepts standard fan-fold paper, while two optional 100-sheet feeder bins allow different papers to be fed automatically.

Meets every individual printing requirement
Extensive range of media includes NEW A2 and A3 double sided BubbleJet Paper, A3 High Gloss Film, and A3 Back Print Film.

Prints double-sided output, computer aided designs, illustrations, presentations, photo images, window displays, and posters - all up to A2 in size.

Optional BC-29F Fluorescent Cartridge
The BJC-5500 is the ONLY A2 printer for the office able to produce fluorescent-like colours. Adds an extra dimension to your creativity.

Simple to use
Intuitive control panel. No specialist knowledge is needed to use the BJC-5500. Flexible media handling - feeds fanfold and cut sheet paper as standard, with the option of adding two 100 sheet feeders.

Allows different papers to be fed automatically by the BJC-5500. A number of documents can be printed without the need for more paper to be added to the printer.

Less user intervention when producing large numbers of multiple prints gives increased productivity.
