The LBP-2460 is Canon's first heavy
duty printer for medium sized networked office environments. With its high
quality, high speed printing, the LBP-2460 is an ideal workhorse office
printer. Offering a broad range of printer languages and emulations through
the optional Ethernet & Token Ring boards, LocalTalk board and a PostScript
module, it is also the ideal choice as a departmental printer. All major
networks are supported and the optional 2,000 sheet paper deck will avoid
the need for constant refilling in productive offices.
The LBP-2460 is a 600 dpi printer, capable of printing 24 A4 pages per minute and 13 A3 pages per minute. Media handling is superb, with the LBP-2460 capable of printing and duplexing on a full range of paper sizes from A5 up to A3. Media handling also includes printing on envelopes and transparencies. The printer has a standard capacity of 1,100 sheets, which can be increased to 3,100, with the addition of the Optional 2,000 Sheet Paper Deck. An optional PostScript module makes PostScript printing possible, and the printer's Automatic Emulation Switching technology ensures effortless switching between PCL and PostScript print jobs.
A comprehensive range of network options are available for both Ethernet and Token Ring and support printing to the LBP-2460 via any of the major network protocols.
