SnapScan 310 Color Scanner SnapScan 310 is part of Agfa's highly-successful SnapScan family of desktop color scanners. It's extremely affordable -- about the same price as a CD-ROM drive or sound card -- and comes complete with everything you need to start scanning immediately. SnapScan 310 connects easily to either a PC or Macintosh, and its FotoLook scanner control software automatically captures sharp, life-like images at the click of a button. It couldn't be more simple.

SnapScan 310 captures impressively sharp images from photos, artwork, magazines or books up to A4 size (8.5" x 11.7"). Within 7 seconds you have a full preview of your original. Agfa FotoLook handles all of the professional-level settings for you, so scanning is extremely easy. Color and contrast are precisely controlled, blurred images can be sharpened and dots removed from printed matter. SnapScan 310 scans full-color images at twice the speed of its highly successful predecessor. Captured images are immediately ready to go into your projects, newsletters, slide presentations, or Web pages.

Your invaluable assistant

Besides scanning images, SnapScan 310 also includes OmniPage OCR software, which reads documents, magazines or books. It converts the text into editable files for use in word processors or databases. And with the optional automatic document feeder, you can save hours of typing.

SnapScan 310 is not only a well-designed scanner, equipped for direct connection to PC or Macintosh (Adaptec SCSI interface card delivered with PC version). The included PaperPort software turns SnapScan 310 into a document management system for scanning, editing, filing, faxing and copying. Your modem becomes a "real" fax machine, capable of transmitting copies of documents or books. And your black-and-white or color printer is converted to a copying machine!
