Woodie is back!
14/11/00: Barry Wood has rejoined Waterford United in fairly dramatic circumstances this past week.
Following on from Michael Devine's shock departure to Cork City for a rumoured £25,000 pay-out, striker Paul Richardson left the Blues in the lurch by deciding to return to England, at what appears to be extremely short notice.
Woodie has stepped into the breech, though. After a number of frustrating months trying to sort out a suitable move, the affable Scot has put what, from this angle, would seem to be his appalling treatment from certain sections of the club behind him, to add his talents to the small, but perfectly formed, pool of striking talent available to Paul Power.
