Taken in Whelans, Dublin on Tuesday 9 March 1999

Bluesy singer Darlene's songs have everything: sex and violence; joy, sorrow and tragedy; love, hatred and despair.

She draws on a wide variety of cultural influences from Native American and Australian Aboriginee (complete whit didjeridoo) through to traditional Irish, Southern Blues, and of course a large dose of Gypsy.

Psychadelic or what?

This man is too fast to photograph.

Wherever she goes, Darlene is supported by some of the world's most talented misicians.

Kazoo solo!
