April '00 :The recent exchange of threatning between Robbie and Liam Gallagher seem to be little more than idle hollow threats that will come to nothing. Although even though Liam rufused Robbie's offer to get into a ring and box it out, he said if they meet he will bust his face in.
We wait to see what the outcome is
March '00 :Robbie has done it again, he won both best single and best video at the Brit Awards, but also while acceting one of the awards he invited Liam Gallagher to a fight to settle their recent fude.
Febuary '00 :Robbie has been nominated for two Brit awards this year, but not best male artist. The nominations are for best single ( She's the One) and best video ( She's the One).
December '99 :Robbie is believed to have been offered £1 million to play two performances at a UK summer festival.
Robbie is believed to be in negotiations with the organisers of the Virgin events, and is set to be paid the phenomenal figure if he performs at V2000.
Working out at an astonishing £5,555 a minute, the £1 million pay-out would be double the figure Blur scooped when they headlined the double-headed festival this year. It also dwarves the £100,000 the Manic Street Preachers were said to have been paid at Glastonbury 1999.
Insider rumours also suggest that should Robbie sign-up to the event, which takes place in August in Essex and Staffordshire, he would not be allowed to perform between now and September.
Robbie has just been voted the most popular person by the youth of Britain. In the poll he beat off competition like parents, Tony Blair, Will Smith and Jesus Christ !
November '99 :Robbie was due to appear on stage with Paul McCartney, the legendary Beatle, but instead he ran out of the building because an earlier audition went disaterously wrong. Paul didn't know much about it though and called out his name waiting for him to appear but was left by himself to perform.
It was a fall of 2 places to no.3 in the charts for Robbie this week. He was beaten by Wamdue Project and (I don't how) Cliff Richard. Just shows how some people actually think about music.
It was straight to the top of the charts for Robbie with double sided single "She's the one" & "It's only us". This single combines a great rock tune and slow track moving tune.
Robbie was beaten to the Best Male Award by shock winner Will Smith at the European MTV Music Awards. This was a bit of a set back but at least he's got a single out that's sure to do the business.
On Thursday November 11th Robbie will be defending his crown as MTV Europe's best male artist, but he up
against stiff competition from George Michael, Sasha and Will Smith. Although Robbie is being strongly tipped to win two years in a row.
Robbie's new double sided single "It's Only Us" and "She's The One" will be released on November 8th.
Currently it is getting alot of air play and is sure to be yet another hit for the Prodical Son.
