Pobal Bhearna is made up of concerned local residents (native and newcomers) who are in favour of sensitive smaller developments but do not want to see oversized urban developments being built in this small coastal village.
2009 Pobal Bhearna AGM presentation now available. Click Here.
Agenda will include review of minutes, Chairman's and Treasurer's reports, Committee election and a discussion about what projects should be worked in 2008 by the new Committee. Attendance is open to all residents of Bearna and we urge people to attend and support the ongoing work. An informal social evening will take place in the meeting room afterwards.
Pobal Bhearna is a non-political voluntary action group set up on the 2nd July 2004 to protect this picturesque seaside village from mass ubanisation now being planned.
