Clane is a small village nestled in North Kildare only 20 miles from Dublin.
This is a first attempt to develop a web page that would encapsulate all the aspects of a modern Irish town, from social & historical facets thru economic & environmental issues.

We felt that this page would be potentially of interest to existing residents, potential residents, ex-residents, tourists and hopefully to other towns and villages around the world.
We aim to share local information via an ever increasingly penetrative medium of communication. The information we present here is collated by, and maintained by other local sources, be they informative individuals, local voluntary committees or businesses. We only present this information so while every effort is made to ensure accuracy, we can not guarantee every item contained here will be accurate or completely up to date.
Not all the following areas have been written yet, but here are the areas we hope to develop.
