It took Miss Honey almost 2 weeks to travel from Manister School
to Terang Primary School in Victoria, Australia.
The children in year 2, and their teacher, Kylie Morrissy
are looking after her. Miss Honey e-mails us with all her news.

Friday, February 27
I went home with Samantha Bausch of Terang, Victoria, Australia.
Samantha found a puppy and she was allowed to keep it. She loves animals.
We had a Sunday roast with her nan and pop and cousins.
I loved being with Samantha, she is very caring.
We both cleaned our teeth after our meals.
Monday, March 2
Today I went home with Hugh. I had a look at Hugh's birthday presents
and played a game of "Pick up Sticks". I won.
Then we played cricket. I bowled Oliver middle stump.
For dinner we had lamb steak. I liked it. I played with Hugh's "Tamagochi".
It died and hatched again. I think Hugh is the best ever person.
P.S. There was a Huntsman (Spider) in Hugh's bedroom last night.
Tuesday, March 3
Today I went home with Rhett. I watched T.V. with Rhett.
Then I met Beethoven, Rhett's pet dog.
Rhett's dad took a photo of me, Rhett and his dog.
I watched Rhett, Ellis and their dog play cricket.
Rhett's house was the best.
P.S. I think the play station and the Pee Wee 50 was the best.
Wednesday, March 4
Today I went home with Adam on the bus. I stayed inside when
Adam went on the motorbike to get the cows in. Then Adam and I played
the computer. I thought the computer was good fun. Then Adam and I watched T.V.
I thought the computer was the best.
Thursday, March 5
I stayed at Travis's house on the weekend. We made a mask.
It was a slime monster. It was fun. Then we played on the computer.
I won 9 games. Then we had tea and went to bed.
The next day Travis read me all the Mr. Men books he had.
Travis has 15 Mr. Men books. The next day we went to the movies, then
had McDonalds for lunch. Then we went home and had a game of hide and seek,
and then we read a book. The next day we went to the park.
Then we went to the dairy and played on the Atari and went home.
I liked the movies best.
Monday, March 9
Tonight I am spending the night with Ben G and his family.
Ben and I had a game of "Trouble". I won, it was fun.
Then we watched some cricket on T.V. Australia were playing India.
I was barracking for Australia with Ben. Ben and I helped Ben's mum cook tea.
It was yummy. Ben and I had a game of basketball. We played 2 games.
I won 2 games. I went the "Bulls" and the "All Stars",
Ben went "Magic" and "Southern Sons". I think Ben is a good player.
We went for a ride on the bike. I rode Ben's bike, it was black.
Then we got ready for bed. Ben's mum read a story. I loved staying with Ben.
Tuesday, March 10
Today I went home with Heidi. It was hot today.
Heidi went under the sprinkler at 5:00. "It was fun" said Heidi.
Heidi made a green hat for me. The hat had a red string.
I went on the bus with Heidi. Heidi could not find her mum because
her mum was at the Primary school when Heidi got off at the High School
with Kimberley, Marcia and Maddelon. Then Heidi's mum came back.
Heidi told her mum that she had forgot what she had said.
Heidi read me a story of Joseph's special coat. It was fun.
For tea we had Chinese noodles. It was yummy. I had petals for noodles.
Heidi told me if I do not eat all my tea I will not get sweets.
Wednesday, March 11
Staying at Todd's.
Today I went home with Todd. After school I went to the pool with Todd.
I stayed up on the hill watching Todd. I saw a couple of Todd's friends there.
Todd's mum looked through my bag. I had tea. Todd's mum said "If you don't eat
all your tea you won't get ice-cream." After dessert I sat up and watched T.V.
Then we had to go do our teeth. Then I went to bed.
Todd's mum read us a book called "Goosebumps". It was scary. Todd read a book
to me. It was called "Harry's got spots on." I went to sleep.
I woke up and went back to school and the special person after Todd took me home.
Friday, March 13
Today at lunch time I went home with Lucy Baird. We went to Melbourne to see
Lucy's nana and grandpa. When we got there we set up my bed. We dressed up
in jewelry. Lucy took a photo of me by myself. Lucy's mum took a photo of me
and Lucy. At 6:30 I went to bed. Lucy went at 7:00 with Darcy, Alice and
Maggie. But, Lucy and I didn't get much sleep because at 8:00 the riot began ...
Darcy, Lucy's younger brother who is 3, had to sleep beside Lucy's bed so
got up to Lucy's bed and jumped on Lucy and me, Alice squealed while Darcy
took notice of me, then the door and then the light. The door was open and the
light was off until Darcy shut the door and turned the light on. Darcy pulled the
curtains down and it took half an hour to fix it.
In the morning I got up and had breakfast. Lucy had four pieces of toast and I had
baked beans. Lucy had 2 pices of toast with baked beans. Then I brushed my
teeth with Lucy. Then we went for a walk. Lucy read me a story called "War One".
Then we did a picture of war. We went to McDonalds for lunch. Then we went home
to nana's and we watched "Swan Lake".
We met Alana from Scotland, they were visiting the house next door. We made a
present for our mums. Then we had tea of Lasagna and went to bed again. Alice
and Darcy went straight to sleep but I couldn't. I laid in bed till 8:00, then I
went to sleep.
In the morning I had breakfast of petals and Lucy had four pieces of toast. Then
we got dressed and went to the city. We took some photo's of me and Lucy and
Darcy, Alice, Lucy, Maggie and me and we also took photo's of Lucy, me and Alice.
There is only one of just Lucy and I and Maggie. We took photo's at the "Shrine of
Remembrance" and the "Eternal Flame". From there we went to see the "Floral Clock"
and the we went to the "Victorian Arts Center". Then we went and saw
Wednesday, March 18
the "Water Wall" at the Victorian Art Gallery. We touched it. It gave
Lucy a surprise because she thought it was glass. We saw some name tags and I
saw Mikaela, Bronwyn, Lucy and Madeline. My name wasn't there which was
disappointing.
We caught a tram around the city. We found a maze, a picture of the Rialto and a
map of Melbourne in a book. We kept it. We crossed the Yarra River. We found
the doors were open so we climbed to the top. Then we went home. "Melbourne is
a pretty city and there were lots of trees", I said.
When we got back to nana's we went to the playground. I rode Lucy's dads old
big bike on Lucy's tummy. I went on the swing and the ride across and Lucy
showed me some tricks on it. We made juice. I had a taste, it was great.
Bob and Di and their little girl Grace came over. Then we had tea of noodles.
I had dessert. Then I went to bed. I woke up. I had breakfast and went home.
The I went to school. I had fun at Lucy's!
Monday, March 16
Today I went home with Mik and we had a game of tennis. I bet Mik. We went
to Warrnambool and we had pizza.
Tuesday, March 17
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Today I went home with jordie and after school I went home with Jordie's
Grandma and Grandpa. They have very nice afternoon tea. I had "Lift", it's nice.
For afternoon tea I had Hedgehog, biscuits and Yo Yo biscuits. My best was the
hedgehog, its really nice. We went outside and played golf with Jordie's
grandma's golf sticks. Then Jordie's brother Tom got a late birthday present, it
was a pocket knife, a space sharpener and a water pistol. I won golf.
I climbed a tree, it was high.
Jordie has a really wobbly tooth. Jordie took me for a tour around the garden.
Jordie hit a big one in golf and it made a dint in the fence and we heard people
crying, but Jordie did not hit them, hopefully?
Then Jordie's mum picked me up from Jordie's grandma's and grandpa's. Then I
went on the trampoline. I got a photo. I took a cream, (in football). Then we had
a game of basketball. I lost the first one and won the second. For tea I had steak
and mash potatoes and broccoli. It was very nice. The Jordie and I went to the
hair dressers. Jordie got a short hair cut. (I got a roller put in my hair).
St. Patrick's Day Celebrations
Tonight I went home with Chris. We went home by car. Ben S came too.
As soon as we got home me, Ben and Chris went to Chris's nana's. She gave me,
Ben and Chris a lolly. I got a mint leaf and Ben got an colonbind and so did Chris.
Then we got to have a cup of tea. When we got home Chris took me for a ride on
his bike. Then we climbed the tree house. After that we all came inside and
played on the computer. Then we took Ben home.
Then we had tea and then we went to bed. Chris's mum took some photo's.
In Chris's family he has a mum, a dad and Jason, his brother.
When we got up we had to take Jason's plaster off.
Thursday, March 19
Me and Ashley played the Sega and I played on the billy cart.
Then we rode our bikes. I could not stay on but anyway at least I rode it.
Then I played Sony and I won.
Friday, March 20
Today I went home with Briana. We got in Briana'a pool. Then we came inside
and then I went to the cow yard to milk the cows. We went to the basketball and
Briana and I went to Briana's friends to sleep over.
After basketball we walked down to Crawley's Milk bar and got hot chips for tea.
At Holly's we played the computer and we went to bed at 10:00. We woke up at 8:00.
We had breakfast at 10:00 and went down to the milk bar and got some lollies.
Then we went over the road to see Holly's friend and we played their computer.
We went back to Briana's house at 3:30. Then Daniel took Briana's
food and mine together. We played the Super Nintendo and Briana lost.
On Sunday we went to Port Fairy because Briana's dad had to play football.
He plays for Terang.
Monday, March 23
Tonight I went home with Brett. I went on the bus with Bretts cousin.
Straight after that I went to Bretts grandma. Bretts cousin and Brett played
cricket with pillows. I went to Bretts house and I played with Bretts pets.
After that I got some PJ's from Bretts sister Lauren and then Brett had to go to Zen
Do Ki. We watched TV then I brushed my teeth and went to bed.
Tomorrow I am going to Ashley's for the morning
because my teacher is going on strike.
Tuesday, March 24
Tonight I went home with Ben S. We went home on the bus.
When we got home to the babysitter's house, me and Bens brother watched TV.
Then we went and played with the dinosaur. Then we played Sega Monsters.
Then we went outside and played on the swings and slide.
I went on the swings and I went down the slide by myself.
Then we watched "What's up Doc?", and then "Catch Phrase".
Then we went home to Ben's house and played the Nintendo.
Then we went to bed. Then we brushed our teeth and went to school.
