There once was a boy from Rathmore
Whose dad kept a sow and a bore
Between the reels and the jigs
They had twenty pigs
And soon they will have twenty more!

by Daniel Collins (4th Class)

There was a small girl from Manister
Who liked to slide down the bannister
When her mother found out
She let out a shout
And now she is banned from the bannister.

by Mairead O'Connell (2nd Class)

Oh I'd like to be good at my sums
Be the envy of all of my chums
Oh the joy and the pride
To multiply and divide
Without using fingers and thumbs!

by Daniel Collins (4th Class)

There once was a duck in Rathmore
Who fell down a big hole in the floor
Her feathers they flew
Her beak it turned blue
And her bottom was awfully sore.
