The school provides additional help to some students who
require extra help with their schoolwork.

In September 1996, an additional Senior Cycle Course - the
Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme - was introduced.
 | Extra-Curricular Activities: |
Basketball, Football(Boys and Girls), Debating/Public
Speaking, Choral Singing, Drama and Computer Studies.
 | Books: |
A loan scheme is operated by the school. An annual
charge is levied on the students to defray the costs. A resource shop, which sells
stationary etc, is also available.
 | Lunch: Students bring their own packed lunch. Tea is made in the
canteen and served at lunchtime. There is also a school tuck-shop which is
organised and run by the Transition year students.

 | School Bank: Transition year students also organise and run the school bank.

 | School Musical: Organised by teachers and students on alternate years.
