a collection of useful links and resources for translators
If it's not on these pages, I don't know it. There's no point in writing me e-mails to ask for a specific resource: if I knew it, I would have listed it here. Please don't be offended if I don't answer requests of this kind. I get a lot of e-mail.
Links marked with were not found when I checked on the date listed in italics after the icon. I normally leave them on the pages for a while in case they reappear; if they're still dead on a later check, I remove them.
and indicate new and updated links respectively. Move your mouse over the icon to see the date when the entry was added or updated.
Welcome to my collection of online resources. It's meant to be particularly useful to translators working with English and Italian: therefore it concentrates on Italian and English language resources, especially dictionaries and glossaries, but there are also links to other resources which can be useful to translators in all languages.
Since the Internet has an English language bias, English language resources are easier to find. For this reason, I've put more effort into looking for Italian resources; however, these are few and far between -- the result is still that there is more English than Italian material in these pages.
I'm an Italian translator, working from English into Italian. I thought a page like this would be quite useful to me, and since I couldn't find one in the Whole Wide Web, I made one myself...
|Updates||A sore point. Since nobody's paying me to do this, and I'm involved in a million other things, even leaving aside the paid work, updates are much less frequent than I would like them to be. Each page has a line showing the date I last updated it, and new links are marked with a icon. All I can say is that I'll update the pages as often as I can manage!|
If it's not on these pages, I don't know it. There's no point in writing me e-mails to ask for a specific resource: if I knew it, I would have listed it here. Please don't be offended if I don't answer requests of this kind. I get a lot of e-mail. (Yes, this notice appears twice on this page. That's because it's important ;-))
