which aims to keep you informed on what is
happening in the community of
Kiltullagh/Killimordaly. This area hopes to
introduce our community to those of you who do not
know it, and to act as a news service for its members
be they near or far.
Kiltullagh/Killimordaly is located
22 miles east of Galway city, six miles
to the south-east of Athenry and seven miles
north-west of Loughrea. It is surrounded by the
parishes of Athenry, Kilconieran, Bullaun, New Inn,
Gurteen and Monivea.
The current population of the parish of Kiltullagh/Killimordaly is
approximately 1,200 people. It is also noteworthy that the placename
Kiltullagh can also be spelt as Kiltulla and that Killimordaly is
sometimes abbreviated to Killimor.
