Ground Snig

 

 

 
 

 

  1. Your opponent is about to pull on the ball.

  2. You are slightly behind him or have a less than 50% chance of beating him to the pull.

  3. Don't Pull-instead get in close and snig the ball away

Note:

  • Keep in close to avoid injury

  • Keep your hand off your opponents back.

Practice Skill:

Throw a ball out in front of yourself and your partner and let him run slightly in front towards the ball. As he pulls  (in slow motion first) you snig. Kick on the ball and repeat the exercise across the field. Swop places on the way back.
