How are project on The Religious Beliefs Of Ireland has been organised

Project Goals

The ultimate goal of this project was to give people a picture of all of the religious beliefs in Ireland using information that would not usually be available to them.

This project is also designed for use as a resource for teachers teaching about the religious beliefs of the world.

Project Rules

All projects were hand written or typed by the people in the group. NO ONE was allowed to just copy tons of info off of an encyclopaedia or web page, they had to look over something, and then compact and write in their words what they had read.

Technology

This is the first project on religion made using computer technology in the N.D.N.S.P., and so it opened up new sources of information, like huge, easy to access databases like Encarta, and also there are hundreds of sites on the web that have an ocean of info on almost anything you want to do.

Resources

There was no shortage of resources available to this project, with an entire room full of computers at our disposal, all of which had internet access, and there was almost no limit to the outside support, as all the projects were based on religions in Ireland.

We are working on this project during the month of May '00 and the beginning of June too.

We would love to hear from anyone who would like to contribute to our website. You could send us drawings, pictures, handwriting, information - anything at all.
