Thank you to everyone who supported the day.

One World Day this year was on the theme of 'Building Communities'. This popular event, which has become an annual focus for the Core Curriculum Committee provides an opportunity for the parents/guardians and families of our children to participate in the core curriculum which the children experience daily in the school.

One World Day was launched by Fintan O'Toole, journalist and writer, who immediately engaged the children with reference to their wonderful displays of 'ideal communities' and gave a thought provoking talk on our perceptions of community. The day looked at many other issues such as inclusivity, alternative communities, organising a street party, street games and traditions and what community means to us.
