	The winners of the 1999 Nora Fahy Literary Awards in Short Story and Poetry
	were announced recently in Co. Clare. The annual awards, promoted by the
	Clare-based literary journal, New Series: Departures (established in 1987) 
	is organised by its founder and editor John Doorty, and associate editors,
	Edna Faye Kiel, Knute Skinner.
