Regaining Paradise
The Nora Fahy Literary Awards - named in
memory of the well-known writer and humorist, and founder of Departures,
Nora Fahy - began in 1995 and ended in 1999. It was an international competition to encourage the writing of poetry and
short story. The competition attracted participation from writers in the US,
United Kingdom, Europe and Ireland. Winners received prize money and in addition their winning stories and poems were published
in New Series: Departures.
