A Shroud of mystery and suspicion has clouded the death of Collins and the finger of suspicion has been placed on many sides. However, contovercy has also dogged the life of Collins as allegations in recent years have been pointed at some of Collins' closest comrade and their credibility has been questioned. Figures as prominant as Emmet Dalton have been accused of acting as double agents, while O'Higgins and Cosgrave have been associated with a plot to destroy Collins. The question of Collins' sex life is hotly debated and some go so far as to say he fathered two children by society lady, Moya Llewyeln Davies. While the basis of many of these allegations owe more to wishful thinking on some people's part, it is, nevertheless, interesting to hear all sides.
