Thomas Michael Ashe was appointed a Senior Counsel on 31st. March 2000 when he was called to the Inner Bar by the Chief Justice , Mr. Ronan Keane , in the Supreme Court in Dublin. Mr. Ashe, who lives In Essex is also a Queen's Counsel in England and in Northern Ireland . His Father, John , came from Doonties West , Lispole and his Mother , Nancy O' Connor 'from Shanakeale , Castlemaine . He is an Irish Speaker and a regular visitor to Chorca Dhuibhne , and a close relative and friend of the Film Star Gregory Peck .
