Message from the principal and the staff of Scoil Eoin.
Scoil Eoin Primary School is in the north-eastern suburbs of Dublin City, the capital of Ireland. It is about 9km. from the city centre and close to the northern shore of Dublin Bay.
There are 14 teachers and 275 pupils in our school this year. The pupils are aged 4-13yrs.
There are boys and girls in our school. There are 8 grades from Junior Infants to 6th
Class and at the end of the 6th class pupils transfer to local secondary school. Most
pupils go to Greendale Community School which is just across the road from our school
Each teacher has his/her own class and teaches all lessons .
There is also a special education class. The teacher of this class addresses the learning difficulties of pupils, after consulting the parents of each pupil in this class. Some pupils also attend remedial classes.
Many members of staff are currently working with colleagues in
N.Ireland, Denmark and Greece on various aspects of the EURO'N
TREASURES Project.
