Pembroke
School was established by Miss Kathleen Meredith in 1929 at 1 Pembroke
Road, in the heart of Dublin 4. This pleasant Georgian House is still
home to the school today. Pembroke School is now under the direction of
Dr Pauline O'Connell, a pediatrician who has a keen interest in the education
and development of young people.
.
Pembroke School, fondly known as ' Miss Meredith's' by many
generations of Dubliners has, over the years enjoyed a reputation for
academic achievement combined with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in small
classes.
This reputation has been maintained by the quality and commitment of the
teaching staff together with the personal interest and attention given
to each pupil. The small class size ensures that teachers can take a personal
interest in the progress of each student.
Today the school blends good academic training with the demands of the
modern trends in Curriculum. It offers education at both Junior and Senior
level.
It is
easily accessible from all areas of Dublin by both Bus and DART
