Hardware is any part of the computer that you can see or touch.
Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Hard-drive.
Software is all the facts and lists of instructions that the computer receives in order to carry out its tasks.
There are 2 types of Software

A Virus is a program (a set of instructions) that transfers itself onto your computer through an infected floppy disk, E-mails or CD's.
To protect your computer from viruses you should install one of the Anti-Virus Software programs available.
