Me! (Nickname: "Shakes")
So who am I?
Well I'm not quite as colourful as my cartoon character might suggest.
Opinions about the type of person I am vary depending on the number of
people who know me - I am not going to add to the confusion!
Why no photo?
- Too ugly
- Mistaken for my father's brother too often
- May instigate immediate (& unwanted) 'Net censorship!
Some general statistics:
I was born in August 1947 (which makes me old and among the majority "type"
who use the 'Net). I live in a town just outside Dublin, VERY near the airport,
called Swords. I am married (to Jessie) and I (we) work for a company called
Bayer Diagnostics.
I (we) have no children and 2 cats - a most satisfactory substitute!
Hobbies/Interests:
Besides my interest in boats I have a major interest in anything to do with
photography, computing, science, science fiction (especially Startrek the
Next Generation), music (wide variety), movies and Stephen King.
