St. Brigid's Post Primary School is under the auspices of County Kildare Vocational Education Committee. The V.E.C. Logo consists of the Flame of Knowledge resting on an altar in front of an Oak tree. The Motto LEARNING FOR LIFE in both Gaelic and English surrounds the Logo.

The Oak Tree in the image has special significance for Co. Kildare because Kildare is the anglicization of the Gaelic words CILL DARA which mean:
(Cill = Church, Dara = Oak) The Church under the Oak.

St. Brigid is the patron saint of Co. Kildare
