European Region Newsletter
Autumn 1998
Chairman's Message1999 the year of the best opportunity and biggest challenge so far for ISA Europe Here in front of you is the totally renewed version of the EuroXchange!!! As you can see there is an updated presentation format, hopefully showing a new professionalism with much enthusiasm and great pride in what we are all doing within ISA! There are some really exiting activities going on in the European Region of ISA. In this edition some of the highlights will get special attention, but these will only show you the tip of the iceberg. Just to name a few: We are very happy with our new District Vice President, Mr. David Keast. I wish him all the best and he can rely on our support!
In Spain we have a new Section with nearly a hundred members within half a year. Congratulations to Mr. Francisco Diaz Andreu, the first Section President and his team. The European Region is well presented in the Interkama/ISATECH 99 Steering Committee by participants from almost all national sections. We're planning a European Region Workshop in May '99. This will be organised and hosted by our Spain Section. New to this event is a specially planned ISA Leadership training for the ISA Leaders and potential Leaders. We have now a ISA European Region Office available to support all of the Sections and ISA members. Unfortunately, there is far too much information to put in this one newsletter, however, the most important issue is that we can only prosper within ISA by the continuing efforts of the volunteer leadership and the many active members. Not only on Section level, but also on a "global" European level. In this way we are able to increase the Society's value to you and improve your membership benefits. So our motto is "Build for the Future, and do well today!"
Sincerely yours |
