ISA Ireland Section Annual Conference

The Effect of the New CE Mark Legislation on Industry

Jurys Hotel, Cork, Ireland
30th April 1996

The Ireland Section of ISA , the International Society for Measurement and Control are holding their annual conference at the same time as the ISA Ireland Exhibition on 30th April 1996.

New regulations have made it compulsory for the marking & complience of all Instrument, Electrical & Mechanical products to the CE Directives. Where there is a contravention of these directives, the manufacturer, the importer, anyone who places the equipment on the market, or anyone who who puts it into service is guilty of an offense.

This means YOU! It is your responsibility as an Importer, Supplier, Consultant, Contractor, Purchaser or End User to ensure the goods comply. Lack of information on recent legislation is no excuse.

The purpose of this conference is to ensure you have a working knowledge of the regulations, know what must comply, what they must comply with, where and who to get information from and most importantly, what your liabilities and responsibilities are.
