We are a Computer company set up in Galway to provide Internet programming and Training to the people and businesses of the West of Ireland. Our aim is to help these companies and individuals to realise the vast potential of the Internet. We also provide a range of other services which are listed below.
Internet Programming (World Wide Web).
Independent Software Support Services provide Internet Programming (the creation of 'Home Pages' through HTML) which is the up and coming way to do business the world over today. Internet Advertising lets your company's main products and services be available to anyone anywhere around the world, and in turn allows you to view and e-mail anyone or any other company's advertising, anywhere in the world.
Among our arsneal of languages and Systems which we can utilise to your web solutions is;- HTML. Java, Perl, AcvtiveX, Microsoft Front Page, Microsoft Visual Basic 5, Windows 95, Windows NT, Unix.

Software Development (Custom Built Software).
For example we would go into an organisation and observe their present system ( whether computerised or otherwise ) and put together a feasibility study to see whether the cost of the system is justified or not. Next Independent Software Support Services, together with the office manager, would design a new system. This new system would be more efficient in terms of speed of access, manipulation of data, duplication of documents and the amount of valuable office space taken up.
As part of the new installed system, Independent Software Support Services would provide comprehensive Software maintenance contracts. We would also provide user guides and training for the members of staff directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the system.
The system could be written through a wide range of programming languages (C , C++ , Pascal , Lisp , Access or Dataease ) on various platforms (VAX , Unix , DOS or Windows ).
Independent Software Support Services can provide a detailed consultancy service to your organisation, through which we can solve any technical queries or problem that you may encounter. This consultancy could often be carried out by a simple phone call. Most of our consultancies to date have simply been queries about which Software Package (e.g. Stock Control System ) would best suit the needs of their specific company. In these cases we would go to the company and observe the existing and make a recommendation.
