In May 1998, a very impressive Art Exhibition was held for two days in the Imperial Hotel, Cork. This was followed by a number of showings in several major banks in the city and county.
Building on the success of last year's exhibition, students have progressed onto other art media; namely, pen and ink and acrylics.Art is an integral part of our overall school programme; an important part which is intended not only to extend our students skills and appreciation of Art, but has the broader objective of developing student self-esteem and providing them with a leisure skill for life.
On May 18th and 19th 1999, twenty of our students had sixty paintings on display in the Imperial Hotel, South Mall, Cork.
Well the Exhibition is over for another year . This year was a hit with everyone . We would like to thank the many visitors to the website . Over a thousand on our counter ! Have a look at our guestbook to see who signed it . A full report for this years event with photos is on it's way.
