Congratulations to Louise Keegan .... Annual Presentation
There was a buzz of excitement and lots of fun as the St.Brigid's Girls Under 10 football section brought the 2003 season to a close on November 15th. with a presentation session in the Clubhouse. Players and their families turned out in great numbers as Dublin's star full-back Louise Keegan very kindly joined us to give out certificates and medals. Louise was one of the mentors who introduced many of the girls on these teams to football two years ago. We hope lots of players follow in the footsteps of Louise and all the Club's stars and enjoy their football at Club and County level . This year we had two under 10 teams , our Division 2 team won the League and reached the semi-final in the Championship under the guidance of Ann., Vincent and Michael. Our Development team improved mightily over the course of the season showing great character and team spirit helped along by Mary and Ultan. Congratulations and well done to all the girls.
Vincent Reddin , who has been a mentor with the Under 10 group for the past two years has headed westwards and we wish himself , Eileen and the gang every success in county Galway . Hope everyone is looking forward to the thrills and challenges of the 2004 season .
