PREMARK: Since being a child I always was fascinated by metaphysical and mystical dimensions. Already in 1961 I experimented with Mescaline and Grass, and from 1964 to 1978 with the king of all mind-expanding drugs: LSD-25. As an enthusiastically engaged spiritual seeker I found it hard to understand, that others used those sacred drug for mere entertainment, mixed wild and dangerous drug coctails, used it for sex adventures, believing they are practitising 'tantra', or ignored the basic nessecity of a harmonious set and setting etc. The results were confused minds, a great baby-boom and a bad image in the media. LSD is definitly *not* a party drug (and never will be), but it has this high potential to help honest spiritual seekers as a key to understand their own deeper nature. Like many other LSD experts and scientits worldwide I seriously hope that those people once get a legal chance for practise and don't have to hide or feel like criminals.
   - Anyhow, I worked always systematically and very hard on what I had experienced, searching for explanations, working through tons of books, psychology, depth psyhology (Jung), discovered Astrology, Hinduism and at last Tibetan Buddhism. Here I felt 'home', experiencing and enjoying this tantric and magic reality again and again and I felt so relieved that thousands and thousands of yogis and tantricians discovered those very same mystical realms already a long time ago. I wasn't alone and not in danger of becoming crazy. - Just instead of sitting in a cave for decades I used the help our modern times.
   - I clearly have to state that I never got addicted to LSD and think that this is not even possible with this specific psychedelic drug. I must add that I had much luck. I never experienced so called 'bad trips' or any negative effects on body, soul and mind. It was the other way round: I was blooming, spiritually growing and enjoying every day of this precious and highly creative time. But I know that others had problems with all this, misusing their magical energies for stupid power games or coming to wrong conclusions, which can lead to serious but temporary mind distortions. So LSD can also be dangerous! And that's the unsolved problem with this powerful and sacred key drug. On the other hand it would be a collective sin to stop it's use. For serious mind research there should be options for legal experiments! I am absolutely convinced that LSD - used in a wise and intelligent way - has the potential to open our eyes not just understanding our own hidden nature and destination but also the the nature of the universe in general - better than a thousand Hubble telescopes!
- Being at university it was a logical consequence for me to become a LSD-Researcher and to write my dissertation on interactions between LSD, metaphysical and mystical experiences and the intensifying effects of music and sound, based 60 extensive LSD-interviews. Unfortunately the book is just available in German. Maybe it eventually will find a translator. In 1978/79 I stopped with LSD and went on with traditional Tibetan meditation techniques, with which one can create similar results. But without the preceding initial psychedelic push I never would have reached anywhere. Another positive effect was, that in contrast to traditional practitioners, I didn't had to 'believe' things. I 'knew' already, and due to my psychedelic past I had a quite easy access to altered states of mind, resp. of tantric reality. Many channels were already pre-opened. I came back as a re-visitor, just using another vehicle. Hope all this doesn't sound arrogant, it's just an honest statement.
   - So don't play around with Psychedelics! Inform yourself, take care, check your motivation and don't misuse this sacred key, loosing the chance for a unique and relatively speedy spiritual development! Until a restricted legalization has taken place I have to warn again, that the use of LSD is an illegal act and that I don't want to enforce anybody for it's use. I simply want to give some informations on Psychedelics on the basis of newest research.

This autobiography crashed all tabus of this time. A bible and starter for the Beat Generation and an important virus for the psychedelic movement. Nothing left out: drugs, jazz, ecstasy, free love, bisexuality, mysticism, passions, eccentricity, revolution, spirituality, religion (Zen). Now a modern classic, a piece of art and an accepted lifestyle to many.	*******
